Editorial Policy

Trust is the foundation of good financial content. This policy explains how I create, review, and maintain everything published on Nazib Finance. If we ever fall short of any of the standards below, please let us know — corrections are welcome.

Originality

Every article is written from scratch by me. I do not spin, scrape, or auto-generate content. I do not use large language models to draft articles. Each piece reflects genuine research and, where relevant, first-hand experience.

Use of AI tools

I sometimes use AI tools for narrow, non-editorial tasks like grammar checking, spellchecking, or generating placeholder illustrations. I do not use AI to draft, outline, or fact-check articles. All financial claims are verified by a human against a primary source.

Research and sourcing

I rely on primary, authoritative sources whenever possible — including the SEC, IRS, Federal Reserve, the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB), FDIC, NCUA, and peer-reviewed research. Claims involving numbers, rates, or rules are linked to their sources or, where a link would clutter the reading experience, sourced from documents I can produce on request.

Fact-checking and review

Articles covering money decisions (YMYL — "Your Money or Your Life" topics) are reviewed for accuracy before publishing and re-verified periodically. Each article shows its publish date and, when applicable, its last-reviewed date at the top.

Corrections

If we get something wrong, we fix it promptly and note significant changes at the bottom of the article. To report an error, email hello@nazibfinance.com with the article title and the specific claim in question. We aim to acknowledge corrections within two business days.

Independence and disclosures

Editorial recommendations are independent. We are not paid by any financial institution to recommend a product. When an article contains affiliate links (which may earn a commission if you sign up), we disclose it clearly at the top of the article. We never accept payment for a positive review, and we do not remove critical coverage of a product in exchange for compensation.

Advertising vs editorial

This Site displays third-party advertisements (Google AdSense). Ad placements are automated by Google and do not reflect any editorial endorsement. Advertisements are visually distinct from article content and are labelled where required.
